Year 2009 ended quickly, so the employees of Siliko gathered together again on the traditional New Years Party, which occured on 23rd December 2009

Every-years parties and summer picnics are the events where all employees of Siliko can gather together. Because Siliko operates on two locations which are aproximately 100 km away, these are nice opportunities for employees to meet and spend a nice day together. There are more and more employees employed in Siliko every year, that is why these events are very welcome for employees to get to know eachother.

This years party occured in Storovje restaurant. We have had a celebration in the same restaurant some years ago, but due to good food and service, and mostly also because of good location (the restaurant is half way between Siliko Brezje and Siliko Sevnica), we decided for the same place again.

For safer way to the party and mostly safer way home from the party, bus transport was organised from Brezje and Sevnica. Party lasted late to the night. Despite that we agreed with the music band to finish playing at 2 am at the latest, they just did not want to stop. Usuallly musicians must be asked very nicely to play longer, but this time was different. Some were dancing so hard that they were wet as they were swimming.

It was nice party and if not sooner we meet again on summer picnic 2010.
