New year celebration - 23. December 2008

Time goes by quickly and also year 2008 was quickly approaching to the end. To celebrate and toast a New year 2009 we gathered together also this year on a traditional Siliko new years party.

This year we chose Dolenjska region. Prepih restaurant is a family company with 20-year tradition. As curiosity we can explain the name of the restaurant. "Prepih" in Slovenian language means draught. In the very first beginnings of the restaurant it did not have any windows and therefore there was a constant draught. Today only the name reminds us on that time as today it is a fine restaurant with delicious home made food.

Dancers of salsa were a surprise of the evening. Originally they are from Cuba and now they run a Salsa club in Slovenia. It was a great evening with all night dancing - as always!
