In December 2005 we have arranged a second Open house day at production plant Sevnica. Under professional guidance many visitors have visited the interiors of the company, and in addition to it also the representatives of Sevnica Community honored us with their visit.

On Friday, the 16th of December 2005, we have arranged a second Open house day at our dislocated production plant in Sevnica. For the first time this event was arranged last year when production plant in Sevnica celebrated its 1st birthday.


This year is already a second year since the company Siliko began with its business at dislocated production plant in Sevnica at the premises of ex company Jutranjka. Despite the fact that already last year many visitors have seen the company, also this year many wished to see the interiors of our new plant. Many also wished to check the employment possibilities personally by themselves, as Siliko already saved several workers from unemployment after sad ending of neighbouring Jutranjka. Even so the unemployment rate at wider Sevnica region is one of the highest in Slovenia.


The visit of the company was especially interesting and sometimes even soul-stirring for ex workers of Jutranjka, who have been working for several decades in these premises which have been completely renovated and modernized.


Beside business premises visitors were also able to see the production hall with complete production process, the products that are being produced, and also the premises for workers – dressing rooms with bathrooms, sanitary rooms, dinning hall, where warm food for employees is organized etc.


With their visit also honored us the representatives of Sevnica Community with the mayor Kristijan Janc, who have also been interested in seeing the production and new acquirements of Sevnica production plant.
